City Club scores over Hindustan FC
NEW DELHI: City Club beat Hindustan FC by a solitary goal in the SAIL-ONGC Delhi Soccer Association Super League at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Sunday.
Midfielder Musibao Adebayo found the net with a long-range free kick in the 45th minute to provide City with full points against a formidable opponent.
City has six points from three matches while Hindustan has three from two.
In another match, Indian National scored a 5-1 victory over a depleted Shahdara FC. Iafyani scored three goals for the winner.
Manish Khatri scored two. Anil Rawat netted the lone goal for Shahdara in the 64th minute.
National has four points from two matches, while Shahdara has not opened its account after three matches. — Special Correspondent
