Anirudh shines

Bangalore: B. Anirudh’s unbeaten 106 kept Hyderabad in the hunt as the team trailed Kerala’s 499 in a KSCA South Zone under-13 tournament match at the JIRS Ground here on Sunday.

On the second day, Hyderabad scored 212 for two in 56 overs after Kerala scored 499 in 130.2 overs with overnight centurion Sanju Samson leading the way with his 266.

The scores: Kerala 499 in 130.2 overs (Sanju Samson 266, Godson Levis 88, C.V. Milind four for 160) vs Hyderabad 212 for two in 56 overs (B. Anirudh 106 n.o., Arun Dev 64).

Andhra 303 in 95.1 overs (Sri Krishna 87, Surendra Babu 60) vs Karnataka 113 for two in 40 overs (D. Nischal 66).

Tamil Nadu 134 in 49.1 overs vs Goa 269 in 116.5 overs (Srinivas 139 n.o., Sharukh Khan nine for 93).
