Three players in joint lead

MANGALORE: M.S. Thejkumar, N. Sanjay and Sameer Ghotane are in the joint lead with four points from as many rounds on the second day of the Mangalore FIDE rated state open chess championship here on Sunday.

They are closely followed by 10 players who are half-a-point adrift of the leaders. While Thejkumar (4) defeated Anand Kumar S. (3), Sanjay (4) got the better of Antonio Viani D’Cunha (3) and Sameer defeated Vijendra.
