Partner for chicken dressing plant needed
New Delhi: The Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board is looking for a joint venture partner to set up a Rs.60-crore chicken dressing plant in the National Capital.
“The joint venture company will operate [the plant] on design, build, operate and transfer basis for a period of 16.5 years,” Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board (DAMB) said while inviting Expression of Interest (EoI) for a prospective partner.
The plant would come up at the poultry market at Gazipur on the National Highway-24, for which, the DAMB will provide seven acres of land.
The new plant, which is likely to come up in one-and-a-half years, will make available hygienic poultry meat and prevent human handling, the DAMB said in an advertisement. — PTI
