Silver articles stolen from temple

NEW DELHI: Silver articles worth Rs.6 lakh were stolen from a temple at Krishna Nagar here in the early hours of Sunday.

According to the police, the incident came to light around 5-30 a.m. on Sunday when the temple priest Jetha Ram found the locks to several rooms broken. Silver jewellery and utensils were missing from there. The police have registered a case and are trying to identify the culprits.
