150 new power stations

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will spend Rs. 885.50 crore for setting up 150 new stations in the State during this financial year. According to a release from KPTCL, 76 stations have been commissioned at a cost of Rs. 370 crore and 74 sub-stations will be completed by the end of the year. KPTCL has also commissioned three new 220 kV receiving stations, one each at Channarayapatna, Kanakapura and Sirsi.
