Call for bandh in Mettupalayam

Mettupalayam: Hindu organisations here have called for a bandh at Mettupalayam on Tuesday following suspected foul play in the fire that affected the Siddhi Vinayakar Temple at Swathanthirapuram at Karamadai on Monday. Officials said the fire might have cuased by a possible electrical short cirucuit.

The organisations have condemned the incident and demanded action against those responsible for the accident. Coimbatore Rural District police have stepped up security.
