Two killed in accident

Hosur: Two persons were killed when the container lorry in which they were travelling rammed a parked lorry and fell into the Thenpennaiar River at Perandapalli on the NH-7 on Monday.

The identity of the victims is yet to be ascertained. Police said the container lorry was coming from Poonamallee to Bangalore when the incident occurred.

The police retrieved the bodies of the lorry driver and cleaner and sent it for post-mortem.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
