PUDUCHERRY: Elementary applied psychology must be taught to schoolchildren so that it would help them develop as refined individuals, MLA K. Lakshminarayanan has said. Delivering the valedictory address, at the 10th National Conference on Applied Psychology and Web World organised by the Pondicherry Psychology Association in collaboration with Psychometric Educational Services, Arcot, here on Sunday, he said that this would pave the way to a peaceful society. “When there is a crack in the mirror the individual would not be evolved completely and that would disrupt his normal behaviour and thus would also disrupt the functioning of the society,” he added. Mr. Lakshminarayanan also presented Psychometric Educational Services Awards to several delegates at the conference. — Staff Reporter
