Ara: Three children of a family were charred to death, while their mother received serious burn injuries when their hut caught fire at a village in Bihar’s Bhojpur district in the wee hours on Monday, official sources said. The tragedy occurred when the hut of Charitar Mushar went up in flames at Kaura village, District Magistrate Jitendra Kumar Sinha said. He said a haystack first caught fire from a kerosene lamp and soon engulfed the adjacent hut, killing the three children identified as Sanjay (6), Ranjay (4) and Kali (2) on the spot. Their mother Dulari Devi was admitted to the Sadar hospital here. Charitar, however, managed to escape unhurt.
