Awards to RTC drivers

ADILABAD: Six drivers of the APSRTC, Adilabad region, were given road safety awards for 2007 for their good driving. The first best award at region -level was given to K. Tulasidas of Adilabad depot, while the second and third best awards were given to Sd. K. Pasha of Nirmal depot and A. Qadeer of Bhanisa depot.

At depot-level, A. Prakash, V.K. Samson and P. Baji Rao received the first, second and third best awards.

Deputy Transport Commissioner K. Rajeshwar Rao, RTC Regional Manager R. Nagaraju, Deputy Chief Traffic Manager Rajendra Prasad and Adilabad Depot ManagerY.P. Balayya also participated in the programme, organised in connection with the valedictory of the Road Safety Week celebrations.
