Receives Sahitya Akademi Award

HYDERABAD: Eminent Urdu poet Ali Asghar has been chosen for the Sahitya Akademi Translation Award for 2007 for his book ‘Ruh ke Naghme’. The book is an anthology of over 100 poems from eminent poetess Kamala Das (Suraiya)’s ‘Only the soul knows how to sing’. —Staff Reporter
