Rs. 97-cr. NABARD loan for classrooms

BANGALORE: The NABARD has sanctioned Rs. 97.75 crore as loan to the government for construction of 2,300 classrooms (981 projects) for government high schools in the State.

The construction of these additional classrooms would be completed in the next two years. The project would benefit 28 districts in the State. The total financial outlay of the projects is Rs. 115 crore and the assistance from NABARD is Rs. 97.75 crore. — Special Correspondent
