Special package sought

NEW DELHI: Leaders of the United Kerala Congress Forum met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday and urged him to announce a special package for the rehabilitation of all those affected by the recent communal violence in Orissa. Addressing a press conference later, chairman of the Forum and Kerala Congress (M) leader K.M. Mani said the delegation asked the Prime Minister to invoke Article 256 of the Constitution and give directions to the State to ensure the security of the minorities.
