Sixty houses destroyed in fire

VIZIANAGARAM: Some 60 houses were destroyed and 149 families were rendered homeless in a major fire accident at Konuru village in Garividi mandal on Monday. S.V. Narasimham, Assistant DFO, said the fire spread to other mud houses due to splinters from an oven. There were no casualties in the accident. — Correspondent
