BANGALORE: Sontag Etoile and Colonel Duff pleased when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Jan. 7).

Outer sand:

800m: Read My Mind (-) 59.5, 600/46.5. Easy. Colonel Duff (S. John) 56, 600/43. Moved impressively. Royal Hero (rb) 57, 600/44. Moved well.

1,200m: Pastiche (S. Babu), Noble View (V. Patel) 1-29.5, 1,000/1-15, 800/59, 600/46.5. Former finished well ahead.

1,400m: Sontag Etoile (S. Marshall), Compton Star (R. Marshall) 1-40, (1,400-600) 51.5. Former showed out.

1,600m: Pillar Of Gold (S. Marshall) 2-1, 1,400/1-41.5, 1,200/1-26, 1,000/1-12.5, 800/58, 600/45. Stretched out well. Stafire (Zia) 2-0, (1,600-600) 1-12. Eased up.

Outer sand — Jan. 6:

800m: Sun Zone (Krishnan) 58, 600/43.5. In fine condition. Laguna Blue (C. Harish) 57, 600/43.5. Worked well. Susanita (B. Paswan), Kaliyug Raja (P. Mani) 58, 600/43.5. They shaped well. Little Splendour (B. Paswan), Neel Gagan (P. Mani) 1-0.5, 600/45.5. Former finished two lengths ahead.

1,400m: Mangalya Prarambh (S. Marshall) 1-40, 1,200/1-25, 1,000/1-11.5, 800/56.5, 600/44. In fine nick. Gift A Diamond (S. Marshall) 1-44, 1,200/1-28, 1,000/1-14, 800/58.5, 600/45. Strode out well.

1,600m: Stafire (rb) 2-0, (1,600-600) 1-11. Easy.
