Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar has asked the Lucknow University authorities to review the decision to suspend 19 teachers by former Vice-Chancellor R. P. Singh. Taking serious note of the action of Mr. Singh, Rajeswar asked the new Vice-Chancellor Prof A S Brar to review the decision, principal secretary to Governor, G B Patnaik, said here. “The Governor has asked the new V-C to review the decision to suspend university teachers,” he said. Mr. Singh had suspended 19 university teachers on various charges of irregularities on the last day of his tenure on Saturday. - PTI
