BJP may woo Chiranjeevi

K. Mrityunjaya Ram

NELLORE: After the unsuccessful efforts of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), it might be the turn of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to woo film star Chiranjeevi.

A top BJP leader from Andhra Pradesh, who has cordial relations with Chiranjeevi, is likely to hold talks with the film star any day after Sankranti on the latter’s likely entry into politics and his yet-to-take shape outfit.

Meanwhile, BJP senior leader M. Venkaiah Naidu, refused to comment on Chiranjeevi’s political plans but gave enough hints that the latter might make his debut soon than later. Mr. Naidu claimed that either new political alignments or entry of someone (Chiranjeevi) into politics could alter political equations.
