Canara Bank posts win

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Canara Bank defeated Ranji CC by six wickets in the Thiruvananthapuram district ‘D’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Monday. Silence CC overcame Civil Services XI by 54 runs in another match.

The scores: Ranji CC 155 for nine in 30 overs (Vijaykumar six for 42) lost to Canara Bank 156 for four in 26.2 overs (Arun 58 n.o).

Silence CC 181 in 30 overs (Shafi 34, Jeevan four for 85, Sooraj three for 39) bt Civil Services XI 127 in 25.4 overs.
