Sridhar, Saina to lead

NEW DELHI: Anup Sridhar and Saina Nehwal will spearhead the Indian challenge in the qualifying event of the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup badminton tournament to be held in Vietnam from February 19 to 24.

The teams: Men: Anup Sridhar (captain), P. Kashyap, Arvind Bhat, Chetan Anand, Rupesh Kumar, Sanave Thomas, V. Diju, Akshaye Dewalkar, J.B.S. Vidyadhar.

Women: Saina Nehwal (captain), Aditi Mutatkar, Trupti Murgunde, Sayali Gokhale, Jwala Gutta, Shruti Kurien, Aparna Balan, P. Jyotsna. Coaches: P. Gopi Chand, T.P.S. Puri, Hadi Idris.
