Air of uncertainty

Canberra: A pall of uncertainty hung over India’s tour of Australia after the team, under instructions from the BCCI, remained in Sydney on Monday instead of travelling to Canberra as scheduled.

The Indian side had a meeting without the support staff on Monday morning lasting nearly two hours.

It was scheduled to leave for Canberra around 10.30 a.m. (local time). M.V. Sridhar, media manager, said the side would stay in Sydney until further instructions from the Indian board.
