Three arrested on snatching charges

NEW DELHI: Three young men have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for alleged involvement in several cases of snatching. A jeweller has also been arrested on charges of receiving stolen jewellery from the trio.

Acting on a tip-off, a Crime Branch team laid a trap near a jewellery shop in Holambi Kalan and arrested Satish, Vikas and Amit. The shop owner, Shyam Sunder, was also arrested for allegedly receiving stolen jewellery from the accused.

A stolen motorcycle, two mobile phones, bracelets and ear rings have allegedly been seized from their possession.
