Joint Collector S. Suresh Kumar told reporters that elections would be held for the water users’ associations of Krishna district on January 8 and 9. Elections would also be held to one-third of territorial constituency members. There are 1,905 territorial constituencies in the district, for which 1,94,165 voters would be exercising their franchisee.
