Contract lecturers stage dharna

VIZIANAGARAM: Lecturers working on contract in government junior and degree colleges staged a dharna at the office of the District Vocational Education Office here on Monday demanding regularisation of their service and wage hike besides maternity leave for women lecturers, PF and ESI benefits.

D. Appala Naidu, president of Government Junior and Degree Colleges Contract Lecturers’ Association, led the dharna.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to Collector B. Kishore. _ Correspondent
