Temple priest found murdered

HYDERABAD: A temple priest Shyam Sundar Kulakarni, 33, was found murdered at Erragunta in Rajendranagar police station area on Monday. The victim left for Denglur in Maharashtra to drop his sister at the latter’s in-laws’ house on Saturday. He arrived in city in the early hours of Monday and rang up his friend Rammohan Rao to send a car to pick up him stating he was waiting at Durganagar.
“Even before Rao could reply, he hung up the phone saying an auto-rickshaw has come,” the Rajendranagar police said. However, he did not reach his house in Sriram colony of Jalpally.Around 11 a.m., Kulakarni’s body was found at a secluded place in Erragunta.A towel found around his neck suggested that he was strangled to death.
