Ration cards issued to transgenders

VILLUPURAM: District Collector Brajendra Navnit issued ration cards to 13 transgenders (aravanis) during the weekly grievance day session held here on Monday.

The transgenders had been demanding Electors Photo Identity Cards and ration cards to assert their democratic and social rights. — Special Correspondent
