Railway users’ panel meet

CHENNAI: The 117th Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committee meeting of Southern Railway was held on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of General Manager Rakesh Chopra.

Committee members urged the administration to increase passenger amenities in stations and in trains.

They also sought to know the progress of ongoing projects in the zone.

Senior officials of the Southern Railway, consumer organisation members and representatives from divisional committees participated. — Special Correspondent
