A.R. Rahman visits dargah in Kadapa

Staff Reporter

KADAPA: Music director A.R. Rahman said on Tuesday that he would establish a music school within the next three months, but was yet to decide on the location.

Mr. Rahman, who arrived in Kadapa on Monday, offered prayers at the Ameen Peer Dargah, known as Pedda Dargah, here on Tuesday. The music director and his family members received blessings from Peethadhipathi Khwaja Syed Sha Arifullah Hussaini. He visited the dargah for the 10th time on Tuesday in the last four years.

He was slated to visit the dargah on January 6, his 41st birthday, but could not make it. Pedda Dargah was one of the most significant religious places, he said.
