Bitta receives another threat

NEW DELHI: The All-India Anti-Terrorist Front chairman, Maninderjit Singh Bitta, has received another threat call demanding that he stop his campaign against terror or face the consequences.
According to AIATF spokesperson, two calls were received on the personal mobile phone of Mr. Bitta on Monday afternoon. The callers, identifying themselves as Mohammed Ayub and Mohammed Ameen, allegedly issued a threat to Mr. Bitta to “stop all your movements against terror campaign…or be ready to face the consequences”.
A couple of days ago, the Additional Inspector General/VIP Security & STF (Punjab), A.K. Pandey, had in a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner said that intelligence inputs had revealed a very high threat to Mr. Bitta.

“Reports reveal that terrorists, particularly those belonging to ‘Babbar Khalsa International, continue to harbour the plans to eliminate Mr. M.S. Bitta…there is very strong possibility of an attack on him at any place including the convoy, place of meeting, his place of stay etc.,” read the letter.
