Sudhakaran complicating matters: Chennithala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president Ramesh Chennithala has accused Devaswom Minister G. Sudhakaran of complicating matters in Sabarimala by making unwarranted statements instead of taking affirmative action to sort out problems related to the pilgrimage.

In a statement here on Tuesday, Mr. Chennithala said the Congress had refrained from politicising the Sabarimala issue and had only pointed out the lapses the- re. The Minister continues to criticise those who offer constructive suggestions instead of taking them at their face value. Parties such as the Congress had a responsibility to protect the devotees.
