Jamshedpur: Peeved over the delay in getting meal, a 55-year-old man allegedly beat his wife to death in Ghatsila area of Jharkhand’s East Singhbhum district. Pota Singh, a labourer, allegedly hit his wife on head with a lathi on Sunday after a tiff over not getting meal on time, police said. As the woman died instantly, those present nearby raised an alarm and police were informed. Pota has been arrested.
