CUTTACK: Traffic on the busy Cuttack-Paradeep and Cuttack-Jagatsinghpur roads were paralysed for more than four hours on Tuesday afternoon following the death of a ten-year-old girl in a road accident at Gatirout Patna, about five km from here. Irate villagers blocked the road after the death of the girl, Banita, daughter of Ajay Behera. The girl died on the spot when a bus crushed her around 10.30 a.m. while she was going to school. Normal traffic on the two roads was affected from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. as the villagers squatted on the road along with the body demanding adequate compensation to the bereaved family, police said.
