WARANGAL: Maoist naxalites killed Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader D. Ramaswamy at Baavurugonda village in Koththaguda mandal in the district in the wee hours of Tuesday. Ramaswamy is the mandal president of TRS party SC wing. According to information, Maoist naxals led by Yellandu-Koththagudem area committee secretary Marri Ravi alias Sudhakar reached Ramaswamy’s house after midnight, woke him up, asked him to come out. On reaching the outskirts of the village, the naxals shot him dead. Maoist naxalites left a letter in the name of Sudhakar alleging that Ramaswamy was responsible for the encounters in the Koththaguda agency area.
