Passport copy of Pakistani found

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: A plastic folder containing the passport copy of a Pakistan national was recovered from the baggage area of the international departure side at Kochi International airport on Tuesday, emigration sources said.

The name on the passport copy identified the person as Mohemmad Fiaz Bhatti from Lahore.

The folder also contained the passport copy of one Kuwaiti national by the name Hamad Kheder Abdul Muhsin Al Suvwaddan.

The cleaning staff of the airport found the folder and handed it over to the customs officials. They in turn alerted the emigration wing.

Following this, the emigration officials immediately verified, after checking the register of passengers based on the passport numbers, that they had not passed through the airport. The folder also contained a letter issued purportedly by the company for which the Pakistan national worked authorising him to attend a meet in Germany.
