SCR specials to clear Sankranti rush

HYDERABAD: In view of Sankranti festival, the South Central Railway will run special trains between Secunderabad and Kakinada Town to clear the rush.

Accordingly, Train No. 700 will leave Secunderabad on January 11 at 10.30 p.m. and arrive at Kakinada Town at 8.30 a.m. the next day.

Halts

The special train will halt en route at Kazipet Junction, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and Samalkot.

Return

In the return direction, Train No. 701 will depart Kakinada Town at 7.30 p.m. on January 17 and 19 and arrive at Secunderabad at 8 a.m. the next day.

The special trains will comprise one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, 12 sleeper class, two general second class and two second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches. in all.
