Leading health economists to attend national meet in Kannur

KANNUR: A national conference on health economics will be organised by the Department of Economics of the Nehru Arts and Science College at Kanhangad on January 29 and 30.

A press release issued by the organising committee here on Wednesday said that noted health economists from across the country would be presenting papers on colonialism and health, rural/urban tribal and slum health, health and gender, morbidity and its changing profile, private and public health care providers, medical ethics, health expenditure and financing, health policy, environment and health, current issues in Kerala’s health care system and World Trade Organisation reforms and health, among other issues.
