Two policemen knocked down

Sangareddy: An armed reserve constable Mohan and home guard Balraj were killed on the wee hours of Wednesday near Malkapur crossroads on National highway nine under Kondapur police station limits when an unknown vehicle hit them and sped.

According to Kondapur Sub Inspector Seshuram Nayak the two AR policemen were returning from Sadasivapet on a motorbike and stopped on their way to talk to Mohan’s brother Prasad.

While the trio were talking on the side of the highway a truck hit them killing the two on the spot.

Injured Prasad has been shifted a private hospital in Kukatpally.

Efforts are on to locate the truck.
