Patna: Retired Bihar Chief Secretary Ashok Choudhry has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bihar Public Service Commission, a notification issued on Wednesday said. Mr. Choudhry will take over from January 15. The new appointee had retired as Chief Secretary on August 31 and was given an extension of three months by the Centre after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had strongly advocated his case.
