PUDUCHERRY: The police on Wednesday conducted surprise vehicle checks in different parts of the Union Territory . According to police, the checks were conducted at all 19 check-posts in and around to prevent anti-socials from crossing over to the UT, in the wake of steps taken by the Tamil Nadu police against miscreants and history-sheeters.
