Flights delayed

BANGALORE: Arrival and departure of flights of some private airlines were delayed at the HAL International Airport in the city on Wednesday morning owing to fog and the resultant congestion thereafter. Sources said that several flights that were scheduled to take off or land between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. were delayed. Deccan flights from Bangalore to Madurai, Chennai and Bellary were delayed while flights from Madurai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Tirupati and Bellary were delayed for over one hour. However, Jet and Air India did not report any delay in the operation of their flights.
