Direct Purchase Centres start functioning

TIRUCHI: Direct Paddy Purchase Centres were functioning in Valadi, Lalgudi, Anbil, Alangudi Mahajanam and Komakudi and at the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation godowns at Irungalur, Musiri, Adavathur, Subramaniapuram, Manapparai and Thuraiyur, Collector Ashish Vachhani has said.

The State Government was offering an incentive of Rs.50 apart from the Centre’s Rs.100 a quintal.
