Medical centres for flight crew

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday approved three medical centres for conducting initial Class I medical examinations for flight crew.

The centres approved are Max Healthcare Institute at Panchsheel Park in New Delhi, Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and Apollo Hospital in Chennai. These are in addition to the three Air Force Medical Centres in Delhi, Bangalore and Jorhat.

With this, the waiting time for medical examination of aspirant pilots will be reduced.
