OneRoof’s rural initiative

CHENNAI: OneRoof Service Pvt. Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of OneRoof based in San Francisco, has opened ten centres in Tamil Nadu to offer essential services such as telecentre computing, and education to rural poor. The company is now planning to expand its operations through micro franchises in rural towns. Praveen Kumar Prithvi, Managing Director, OneRoof Service, said in a release that the company would launch five centres in the first quarter of this year through franchises. — Corporate Reporter
