Learning from children

The syllabus in most schools has lessons on the importance of traffic rules and regulations. Sadly, a host of factors conspire against the students, ultimately making them follow the ‘wayward’ ways of their elders. Overtaking through the left side, blocking traffic by parking haphazardly, not signalling when needed, not dipping headlights, … the list is endless.

Even those who wish to follow traffic rules are forced to break them, as rule violations are common in most parts of the city, thanks to the abject lack of civic sense.
