Intelligence suffers

Additional Director-General of Police (Intelligence) Jacob Punnose said that there was no proper system of training Special Branch (intelligence gathering wing of the State police) officials. He was speaking at the inaugural of the South Zone Training Institute for Special Branch Officers. Intelligence work required a different set of skills that needed to be inculcated through training. He said the new institute would help make up for the lack of specialised training.
