Mirzapur: Armed assailants shot dead a police constable in Railway Colony area here on Thursday, police said. The constable, Devendra Mishra, was fired upon when he was sitting at his residence, they said. Land dispute was stated to be the motive behind the killing, they said, adding that an FIR had been registered against six persons and efforts were on to nab them.
