Mobile phones for MCD schools

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to distribute mobile telephones to its schools which do not have landline connectivity.

At a meeting on Thursday, MCD Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta said: “We will be giving mobile telephones to remote schools and to school inspectors. This will ensure a seamless coordination among all officials concerned and facilitate their interaction.”
