KOTTAYAM: The ceremonial petta thullal by the Ambalappuzha and Alangad teams of Sabarimala pilgrims will be held on Friday. The Ambalappuzha team will make the dance offering first, followed by Alangad. Both teams will start from Cheriyambalam and proceed to the Valiyambalam nearly a kilometre away. The Ambalappuzha team will enter the Vavar Palli near by also. Both the teams will then move to Pamba and participate in the Pamba Sadya and then trek to the Sannidhanam to participate in the Makaravilakku fete. — Staff Reporter
