Call to thwart anti-Telangana programmes

HYDERABAD: The Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the Janashakti have called upon the people of Telangana to launch an agitation to thwart the day-to-day programmes of political leaders belonging to parties that were anti-Telangana.

In a joint statement on Thursday, Maoist North Telangana Special Zone Committee secretary Chandranna and CPI (Marxist-Leninist) Godavari Valley Area Committee secretary Bharat lashed out at the Congress for its decision to constitute a second States Reorganisation Commission. They accused the Congress, the TDP and the CPI(M) of working for the interests of the rich people from Andhra region.
