Presidency School triumphs

BANGALORE: Presidency School, RT Nagar emerged champion in the Boost Cup under-17 tournament here on Thursday. In the two-day final that concluded at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Presidency School defeated St. Joseph’s Indian High School (SJIHS) by eight wickets.

The scores (final): SJIHS 189 for eight in 55 overs and 144 in 28.3 overs (Mohd. Muneer four for 34) lost to Presidency School, RT Nagar 197 for nine in 55 overs (Wasim Baig 44) and 139 for two in 26.4 overs (Mohd. Muneer 53 n.o.).
